I have taken the car idea and the logo from the image on the right so this can be considered the main reference image:

Main background image:

I was able to replace the background of my main image with the mountains from the secondary image. The car was used as a foreground image. so was the second image. I've put the fog to put a constant feel over the final image.

The Wall-E Project
Research Imagery (MoodBoard):
For this project, I have decided to work in Maya. I will be modelling the following objects and terrain in Maya and potentially be moving it to Unity to create an environment however the environment in my will be my main focus. I will also be applying some of the processes learnt in the environmental FX module to this project. Following are a few pictures of the objects i will be focusing on.






Work Under-Progress:
I have been able to model a small building and a billboard to set the basis of the scene. I will be putting textures to them to add more colour detail to the scene. the bill board has a broken railing and its coming down at an angle to show the damage caused by time.




Progression:
Working on the feed-back given in the class, I have been able to make some improvements, changes to the scene. It was discussed in the class that due to the scene being set in a dystopian world, the objects need to show age related changes. keeping that in mind I started with the barrels. the barrels now show rust and various dents caused by the time and elements. I was also able to damage the cabin itself by bringing down half of its wall. the windows shows distortion caused by time as well. For the staircase leading to the cabin, Ive broken one of the steps, dismantled the iron bars and railings so they look old and damaged:


My next step has been to add NCloth to the project. this is of course the technique learned in the Environmental FX module. I have emulated the idea into a cloth hanging by the destroyed cabin, being used by the individual living in there to help shelter. I also used a newspaper stuck to a street light post. I've set the scene to be a windy and just after a rainy day.




Ive used Substance Painter to texture all of my assets. Below is an example of a rusted old dented barrel.

The Idea quickly progressed to being a Cabin by a deserted street surrounded by buildings. the pictures below show the upgraded idea with all the textures in place with a road in the back, with street lights.

Ive added some plantation. It shows the time went by and the nature taking its effect. The scene is set after a rainy day hence the reflective watery floor.

A closer look at the plantation taking over. As we can see the plants have grown underneath the broken cabin and around the rusted a stationery barrels:


In the render below, I have added bulbs to the street lights, I have added some more plant growth as well which shows in the planks at the foreground of the pic. There is also a bare tree next to the billboard in the back ground. I also added one of the main assets into the scene which are the buildings.

Ive used the Nparticle Emitter effect in the scene too. This has helped me create a fire in the bonfire I created.

The Christmas Advert Project

For this project, I have decided to work in Maya. I will be working on modelling the shop for the advert together with some more models like children's toys. Following is the color pallet and the moodboard for the project.

Work Under-Progress:
I have been able to model a small building and will be shaping it into more like a shop. I will add a door to the building. for the empty space we see inside the shop, we as a group will be adding models like a Christmas tree, some tables to place some presents and toys upon, and the main focus of a Polaroid camera and some Polaroid pictures hanging around in front of the windows. shop following are a few renders for the work done so far.
